PADMA MUDRA / UNCONDITIONAL LOVE (WIP) is being filmed on Maui, Hawai’i featuring artist Cara K. Griffin performing intelligent movement as a goddess being . The Lotus Mudra hand position can be used in meditation practice, and connected with intention can focus the flow of subtle energy, and represents loving kindness and healing from emotional trauma. Breath work heat the body revealing its life force. Griffin movements are at once both practiced as a result of a deep commitment to yoga and breathwork, and intuitive, celebrating the fiercely feminine, our mother Earth and a powerful future feminist society.

Cara K. Griffin, a multimodal abstract expressionist artist, explores what it means to be human interactively. Born in Huntsville, Alabama, Cara attended Savannah College of Art and Design for painting and illustration, and holds a BA from Antioch University. For over a decade she succeeded in a variety of roles from traveling yogi, fashion buyer & stylist, yacht painter, metal worker, community arts teacher, and social justice activist. She was legally blind in her left eye until adulthood, giving her highly texturized work a unique perspective to feel seeing. She’s exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions and made Maui her home in 2018.
